Scots call on Slatter

Scotland have called up utility forward Mark Slatter for Saturday's warm-up match against France in Perpignan.

Slatter, who plays for Sheffield amateur team Hillsborough Hawks, replaces Hull loose forward Graeme Horne, who has withdrawn from the squad through injury.

The clash will be Scotland's final match before their vital World Cup qualifier against Wales in Glasgow-Old Anniesland on November 4.
