Marc's club False Bay has a long standing connection with Glasgow
The club chairman Louis de Waal played for West in the early 1970s when a student in Glasgow
He was then the prime mover for The Rainbow Tour when False Bay visited Glasgow in 1997 playing Hillhead,West,GHK and Glasgow Accies
This tour had the blessing of Nelson Mandela and was one of the first mixed sides to come out of South Africa at the end of the apartheid era

In recent times Craig Hodgkinson played for the Navy Barbarians against a False Bay select just a month before his tragic death

Rory Hamilton a student in Glasgow has been a regular with Hawks 2xv for the last two seasons and comes from Belfast.Rory follows in the footsteps of Timmie Thompson.Glenn Telford and Mike Rainey
