On Tuesday Glasgow Hawks Development side played Dalziel RFC in a re run of an earlier match at Old Anniesland.

About 15 minutes from time with Dalziel leading 11-3 the match was abandoned when Neil Tannahill went down with what at first looked like a serious injury. We are pleased to report that whilst Neil will be unable to play for several weeks that he did not sustain any permanent injury.

Everyone at Glasgow Hawks is grateful for the immediate assistance provided by Bobby Martin of Dalziel RFC who delivered first class first aid advice. Also sincere thanks to all the medical staff at Wishaw General Hospital where Neil stayed overnight as a precaution.
