Good afternoon everyone,
The above will take place at Braidholm on Wednesday 12th December at 12 noon for 12-30pm. As is the normal custom at the Christmas Lunch wine will be provided at the meal free of charge. There will however be a raffle on behalf of International Kit Aid the Charity we have supported for the last two years. Tickets cost £5 each and can be purchased on the day.
I am pleased to confirm that the speaker will be Norrie Flowers. Norrie is a Welshman, a policeman and an ex referee but despite that is an excellent after dinner speaker.
We anticipate that the number attending will be close to the maximum for the room so it is important that you let me know whether or not you are attending. If you wish to bring a guest who is not likely to be a regular attendee in the future please confirm this with me beforehand. New members will be most welcome.

I am sorry to report that our Secretary and Founder member Glen stirling passed away last week. The GROGS were well represented at the funeral on Tuesday and we passed the condolences of the Club to his wife and family. In case you have not read it there was an excellent obituary in the Herald on Tuesday.
I look forward to meeting you again in two weeks time.
