FORMER HAWK EUAN SETTLES IN AT FRANKLIN GARDENS

From the Saints`website

Euan Murray’s arrival at the Saints was sorted back in March this year and in May he confirmed he would definately be joining the club after the World Cup by signing a two-year deal.

Euan's arrival demonstrates the club's commitment to building a strong future.

Euan started playing rugby at Glasgow Hawks where he was spotted by Glasgow Warriors. However Euan didn’t wish to turn professional until he had finished his veterinary degree, and didn't join the Warriors until 2003 although he did play on a number of occasions over the two seasons during his time at university.

Euan has played for his country at U18, U19 and U21 level, toured Australia with the Scottish squad in 2004 and made his test debut in 2005 against Romania.

This has been a busy year for the tight-head prop. He was part of the 2007 RBS Six Nations squad and played for his national team at the World Cup. And now National League One awaits with the Saints
