On Saturday, February 09, 2008, Glasgow Hawks RFC celebrated their 10th Anniversary. A dinner was held in the Assembly Hall of The High School of Glasgow at Old Anniesland. As part of the celebration, a Player of the Decade (1997 - 2007) was selected and the winner was former Scotland full-back, Glenn Metcalfe.

Glenn now lives with his family in Auckland, New Zealand, but he sent across this short video as a thank you speech
