Strathclyde Police have been disqualified from the Scottish Cup and therefore Accies are now free to play Heriots in the 4th Round. This game takes place at New Anniesland this Saturday 16th February with a 2-30pm kick off.
It is probably 13 years since Accies last played Heriots and this is certainly the highest rated side that have played since the formation of the Hawks in 1997.
We may no longer be in the top echelon of Scottish Rugby but we are still capable of holding major matches.
As an Academical we ask you to come out and support the boys in this major task. A good crowd to cheer them on will give our boys great encouragement.
The bar will be open from 12-30 and soup, pie and beans or a main course for an informal lunch will be available from 1pm.
As this is a cup tie all members are required to pay the entry fee of £5 (£3 for senior citizens and students) schoolchildren free.
Please come and bring your friends and family support. Hopefully there may be a shock result!!
I look forward to seeing you again on Saturday.
Kind regards
Alasdair Graham
