Hawick Linden have appealed the decision to disqualify them from the National Cup competition. Obviously I have no way of knowing what the decision of the Appeal Panel will be but you should be aware as obviously whatever they do decide could impact on whether you have a Cup match to play this weekend. I am trying to arrange a hearing of the Panel as soon as possible but in the meantime could I request that you keep your clubs ready in anticipation of the possibility of a match this weekend.
