There were a couple of surprises in the 4th round of the Scottish Hydro Electric Cup.
National League 1 side Falkirk took the scalp of Premier 2 side Hillhead-Jordanhill with a 17-12 win.

Dumfries from the second division of the National League edged out Premier 3's Ellon 12-10 to make it into the hat for Round 5, which will be announced at the start of next week.

Garnock from NL1 were leading Premier 2 second placed side Selkirk 10-3 before being beaten 16-10. Hawick YM - from National League 3 - made Premier 2 leaders West Of Scotland work for their 22-12 win.

Heriot's beat Glasgow Accies 90-7, Melrose defeated Kilmarnock 85-10.

Because of the expulsion of both Lamgholm and Hawick Linden - Hawks were awarded a bye to the 5th round of the Cup
