Herald letters
Does anyone really care about the Six Nations?
Can someone please explain why rugby dominates so much of the national press? Basically, who cares?
The Herald's sports section on Saturday had the first five pages devoted to rugby. Scotland get a full house twice a year, how many go to a national league match every week? 500?
Last week, I watched a good Celtic team play against an exceptional Barcelona team, both teams play to over 60,000 every week.
Rugby is only for the privileged. The vast majority of us want to read about a thrilling SPL title race, European exploits and not the woes of a talentless bunch of no-hopers.
