Kelvinside Academy defeated Queen Victoria School to win in the Under 18 Plate Final on Saturday at Glasgow Academical RFC.

Kelvinside got off to the best possible start with a try in the second minute by winger, Marc Taylor, and converted by Ronan Scolard

After the 19th minute, QVS gave away a penalty and the boot of Scolard put the Glasgow side 10 points clear.

Half Time: 10-0

Fifteen minutes into the second half, scrum half, Callum Maxwell, crossed the line for a converted try.

Final Score: 17-0
