Glasgow Hawks' disappointing Premiership campaign finished on another sour note as they were edged out 26-25 by Heriot's at Old Anniesland.
Tries by Andy Douglas, Jon Alston, Richard Mill and Colin Goudie made sure of the bonus point for the visitors, with Graham Wilson converting three times.
Neil Caddell ploughed in for two Hawks touchdowns, the others being claimed by Sean Murray and Eric Milligan. Ian Noble added a conversion and a penalty.
