GHK progressed to the semi finals of the 'Plate' with a hard fought win over Edinburgh Northern at Old Anniesland. It looked like it would be a scoreless first half but, in 37 minutes, the ball was moved at pace along the back line allowing Craig Bennie to squeeze in at the corner for 5-0.

Two minutes into the second half Craig Gossman left the EN defence flat footed for a try, converted by Dicky for 12-0. Five minutes later Craig Bennie grabbed his second try of the afternoon, ending GHK's scoring at 17-0. EN managed a penalty in 52 minutes and a try from a rolling maul after 70 but GHK held on for a well deserved victory.

Joining us in the draw for the semi finals are Clydebank, Portobello and Aberdeen University.
