Scottish Rugby holds its first ever invitational sporting mascots race on the opening day of the Emirates Airline Edinburgh Sevens on Saturday 31 May.
The celebrity "runners" were on show at Murrayfield today to get a feel for the track, and work out their tactics for the big day.
To ensure that the runners are fully fit for race day, Scotland U17 winger Craig Robertson was acting as race starter - and also to pass on some vital training and sprint starting tips.
Craig was the winner of the 2008 New Years Day 110m Sprint handicap, one of the world's most famous amateur sprints, which has been held at Musselburgh race course for the past eight years. Craig will also be competing for his school, Galashiels Academy, at the John Lewis Schools 7s on Saturday 16 April.
The runners at Murrayfield are as follows: Scottie (Emirates Airline Edinburgh 7s), Flinty (Edinburgh Rugby Club), Tynie the Tiger (Hearts FC), Sunshine (Hibernian FC), McGoldie (Golden Oldies), Mr McSquirty (Purely Scottish) and Edi-B (Edinburgh Leisure).
