Following their 1872 Challenge Cup win over inter-city rivals Edinburgh last weekend, Glasgow Warriors have made only one change to their starting XV for tomorrow night’s clash with Llanelli Scarlets.
Sean Lineen has re-instated Daryl Gibson to the midfield to partner Graeme Morrison. However, despite player/coach Gibson’s return, last week’s man of the match Dan Parks will continue to wear the captain’s armband.
Parks, who completed a ‘full-house’ last weekend with two tries, two conversions, two drop goals and a penalty, said: “Training has been really good this week. All the boys are buzzing after the win over Edinburgh.
“It’s amazing the difference a win like that can make because despite being this far through the season, we’re all full of energy and the whole team is really fired up for tomorrow’s game.”
Lineen added: “This is our last home game of the season so we want to build on our momentum from the last few games and finish on a high.
“Our game against the Scarlets down in Llanelli was our poorest game of the season so the boys definitely have a point to prove.
”The crowd at Firhill have been fantastic all season and we need them to get behind the team once again tomorrow night.”
