With Hawks director of rugby Peter Wright giving evidence to a "select commttee" of MSPs this week this is not the first time that Hawks have given evidence in this form
Hawks were invited to present evidence some ten years ago to a House of Commons Select Committee investigating the impact of professionalism on Rugby Union
The committe was chaired by John Maxton M.P. now Lord Maxton of Blackwaterfoot
