SEAN Lamont may be in line to start for Scotland alongside his brother Rory for the first time on Sunday, but he is preparing to cut the family ties at their club.
Sean, the older Lamont by nearly two years, is in talks with Northampton about a move to the Zurich Premiership this summer, two seasons after joining Glasgow. The 24-year-old wing was instrumental in persuading his sibling to last year follow his route north, the pair having been brought up in England after their parents left Perth when they were young. But with ten Test caps now under his belt Sean is understood to be keen to test himself further in the Premiership.
Neither Glasgow nor Northampton would comment yesterday,
