Kelvinside Academy's U18 rugby squad won the Bell Lawrie Scottish Schools' Rugby Plate Competition at the end of last season. The squad beat Queen Victoria School, Dunblane, 17-0 in the final at New Anniesland. The group travelled to Sale, Manchester, for a training session with Sale Sharks in early April where they also played two games
