Glasgow Warriors head coach, Sean Lineen has named an unchanged 22 from the one that defeated Newport Gwent Dragons last Friday which is testament to their winning performance at Rodney Parade.
“The boys did well. However tomorrow’s game is a step-up in class from last weekend," said Sean.

“The Ospreys are a quality team and have had two good wins, but we want to test ourselves against the best. They’re pretty formidable but the boys are raring to go.

“It’s very important that we get off to a winning start at home in front of our own fans, who will all have to play their part as well.”

Tomorrow night’s game also poses a golden opportunity for stand-off Dan Parks to become the highest points scorer in Magners League history. Parks only requires three points to overtake David Humphreys’ record of 786 points.

Speaking to glasgowwarriors.org this week, Humphreys praised Parks: “Being the top points’ scorer in the Magners League has been a great achievement in my career and something I have been proud of, as I always gave my best for my team. The Magners League is a tough competition, getting harder year on year, so to rack up points isn’t an easy task and Dan has done very well.

“I wish Dan ever success in matching and unfortunately overtaking my record. He showed last Friday night that he is a top-class player, even being named as Magners’ Man of the Match. So good luck to him for the game.”
