Last week 311 children took part in rugby delivered by Glasgow Hawks development manager Grant Talbot. 110 of these were girls aged 6 – 11 and 201 boys aged 6 – 16. On Saturday GHK and Glasgow Accies mini rugby players took part in a coaching clinic before the Glasgow Hawks and Edinburgh Accies match. Both primary 7 teams played a 10 minute match on the main pitch prior to the main game.

This week will see Corpus Christie, St Brendan’s, St Clare’s, St Pat’s and St Paul’s receiving tag rugby in the lead up to their rugby festival in October. Kelvinside Academy, The High School of Glasgow and Glasgow Academy will continue to receive coaching from Grant this week.
