College keep up the good work to earn more pass marks
ALAN LORIMER September 23 2008
St Aloysius College maintained their good form this season with a second-successive win, following up a victory over Dundee High School, against Glasgow rivals Hutchesons' Grammar School, by 18-7.
All three of the St Aloysius College tries were scored in the first half, right-wing Jay Chitnis opening the scoring before prop Euan Angus Macleod and outside-centre Steven Curran touched down. Their only second-half points came from a penalty goal by Luke Gallen.
For Hutchesons, stand-off Scott Lang scored all his side's points, a try and the conversion. Elsewhere, there were defeats for Glasgow Academy and Glasgow High School, the city schools losing to Strathallan and Merchiston respectively
