Wigtownshire this weekend

This Saturday the 1st XV travel to Stranraer to take on Wigtownshire. Our first bus journey of the season to get to this very hospitable club which has produced some great players over the years (a bit to live up to for somebody in our team?).

No fixture for the 2nd XV owing to the holiday weekend but why not come to Stranraer and enjoy the fun?

Bus leaves OA at 11:30. All supporters welcome.

An abiding memory of our last visit there is Ewan Smith scoring the winning try then, without stopping, continuing his run to the clubhouse toilet! He'd been suffering as a result of a dodgy curry but played 79 minutes before succumbing to the effects - true grit.
