Scottish Rugby is undergoing a root and branch restructuring following the changes agreed at the Annual General Meeting in June. As a consequence of those changes a voluntary redundancy programme has been put in place and Mike Keohane, Director of Corporate Affairs, has decided to leave Scottish Rugby under those arrangements.
Commenting on Mike’s departure, Fred McLeod, Interim Chief Executive said: “Mike is leaving us with our very best wishes. I would personally like to thank him for his guidance and advice which has proved invaluable during a very challenging time for Scottish Rugby”.
Mike Keohane said: “Now that a lot of the changes have been agreed and Scottish Rugby is again in safe hands I think that this is a good time to move on. My passion for Scottish Rugby is undiminished and I plan, at the very least, to be at Murrayfield supporting the Edinburgh Gunners and the Scotland team as often as I possibly can.”
