CEO'S NEWSLETTER

Dear Hawks Supporters,

This Saturday Hawks face Watsonians in the league at Old Anniesland, K.O. 3:00 PM.

Despite the season we are having to date, our young side - made up entirely of local Scottish lads with the exception of Ian Noble, our 62-times capped Zimbabwean fly-half - has been playing some brilliant rugby at times and has lost three games by only one score. Our style of rugby has been praised by all our opponents and the press with the Scotland on Sunday saying of our narrow defeat at Hawick last Saturday, "Hawks could not be accused of playing one-dimensional rugby, such was their willingness to move the ball wide as often as possible."

The boys are training three nights a week and are being supported by a fully committed coaching, medical and management team.

Our squad of young Scottish players would greatly appreciate your vocal support at the next three league games at Anniesland.

Saturday, October 25 - Watsonians - KO 3:00 PM
Saturday, November 8 - Ayr - KO 2:00 PM
Friday, November 21 - West of Scotland - KO 7:30 PM. See Peter Wright's Hawks take on John Beattie's West!

Beers, tea, coffee, a hot main meals, pies etc provided by Alan James is available in the stand before, during and after the game so please come along to Old Anniesland, bring your mates, get behind the players and enjoy the day or night.

For more information, please check www.glasgowhawks.com or call 0141 950 1222.

I look forward to seeing you there.

Yours in rugby,

Kenny Baillie
