SCOTS THROUGH TO PLATE FINAL

The Scottish Thistles will play in the Plate final of the SCC International Rugby Sevens having seen off the challenge of Oriental Orngatai.

The Scots took the lead with a try from Graham Hogg before Oriental equalised.

Roddy Grant then put the Scots back in front before the break.

Oriental then came back shortly after half-time but it was Roddy Grant who scored the crucial try, Mike Adamson converting.

The Thistles will play either Cottesloe or Arabian Gulf - who they beat 36-0 in yesterdays pool match - in the final.
