Jim Taylor was a player for Kelvinside Academicals who sadly was paralysed after a scum collapsed while playing at Balgray.
He has shown great strength and courage in facing up this and has channeled his energies into fundraising for various charities.

It would be wonderful if you could support him after reading the message below.
Hi all,
As you all know I like to take on a challenge to mark 'special occasions'.
Now 30 years since my rugby injury confining me to a wheelchair.
I've always had tremendous support from Sandra, my wife, family and friends.
I know Christmas is not far away but would appreciate support to help others less fortunate.
I've trained hard, for me, and am looking forward to this 'push'.
Curled well and presently double Scottish champion with team victory in March and Pairs victory start of this month.
You know I'm a determined so and so and will take it on and give my all.
Please support to help others aspire to great achievements despite their disability.
You have all, in different ways, inspired, supported, cajoled and cared for me.
Now my turn, with your help, to pave the way.
Aye yours
Jim Taylor
PLEASE, PLEASE PASS ON.
