MAX ON BENCH V CANADA

Glasgow's Max Evans has been included in the senior Scotland 22 for the first time as Frank Hadden named his team for Saturday's clash with Canada at Pittodrie.
Three players injured during last weekend's loss to South Africa - Chris Paterson, Thom Evans and Jason White, are omitted. No 8 Simon Taylor, who missed the first two Bank of Scotland Corporate Autumn Tests, is fit again, while also introduced are wingers Simon Webster and Nikki Walker and flanker Alasdair Strokosch, with Rory Lamont switching to full-back.

Scotland coach Frank Hadden said: "There is an element of freshening up the squad and it's also an opportunity to look at certain blends ahead of the Six Nations but, as ever, the selection is about winning the game."
