West of Scotland got back to winning ways with a 20-10 win over Watsonians at Burnbrae.
Graham Fisken and Colin Duck grabbed the West tries with Conor Davis capping a fine display with two conversions and two penalties.
Ayr took another big step to the Premier One title with a 24-8 win over nearest rivals Heriot's.
Ayr's points came from tries by Wilson, Richard McCallum, Florian Marin with Frazier Climo coverting all three scores and adding a penalty.
Warriors' pro Steve Swindall scored a try for Glasgow Hawks but the Old Anniesland men still went down 25-18 to Edinburgh Accies at Raeburn Place. Jono Wright and John McClay went over for another two unconverted scores. Ian Noble added a penalty for Hawks.
