Frozen out
SCOTLAND club team captain Peter Wright was unable to assess the form and fitness of his potential players when Edinburgh Accies' fixture against the Co-optimists was called off yesterday due to a frozen pitch at Raeburn Place.

It was unclear last night whether or not the fixture would be rescheduled, although this Saturday was seen as a potential date as it is a blank fixture before club rugby gets under way in earnest again with the cup fixtures on January 10.
