In the area that has given Scotland some of its great footballers, Glasgow Hawks are now hoping to uncover some rugby talent for the future.

Over the years Drumchapel, through the Drumchapel Amateurs F.C., has produced the likes of Kenny Dalgleish, Asa Hartford, Archie Gemmill and Alex Ferguson and now Glasgow Hawks Club Development Manager, Grant Talbot, is hoping to follow suit in rugby terms.

Last Saturday Grant, along with Scottish caps and former Glasgow Hawks players, Andy Henderson and Mike Adamson, launched a Hawks Mini section at the Donald Dewar Leisure Centre.
