President is in touch, even if the SRU are not
I am in some agreement with Ian Gray's comments regarding the SRU (Fans with Laptops, Tuesday, March 3).

I also feel the SRU is slipping back to its old archaic ways in which, as Ian puts it, "favouritism remains alive and well". While I laughed at his comment that the championship committee wouldn't know that our current president is a member of Cambuslang, I do know for a fact the man is a strong supporter of the club game at all levels.

Recently I turned up to watch Isle of Arran take on McLaren FP only to find our president running touch.

I am sure he is as disgusted as the majority of us are in the recent championship committee decision.
