And then there were two .............
A bonus-point 50-10 win for GHK over Cumnock today eliminated Clydebank from the race for West Division 1. We are now on 67 points and only Cumbernauld (44 points from 13 games) can overhaul us with the potential to gain 69 points. The perceived wisdom at the start of the season was that Cumbernauld was the team to beat and, looking back, we were fortunate to catch them cold on the first day at Old Anniesland. While the two Oban games were undoubtedly the hardest rugby games we have played to date, the best may be yet to come when we visit Cumbernauld on April 4, though there is the possibility that matters could be taken out our hands if one of Cumbernauld's other opponents can cause an upset.
All to play for in the run in.
