Glasgow Hawks vs Heriot’s

Good afternoon folks as we look forward tomorrows SHE Premiership Division 1 game versus Heriot’s and a warm welcome to Bob and his players for what I hope is an enthralling match this afternoon.

After a great result two weeks ago against Watsonians, it is vitally important that we carry on the good work this week against Heriot’s. Well done to all the players that day and I thought the display from the pack was the best of the season with a number of players outstanding – we have now set our standards and we must maintain them week in, week out.
Today’s game is even bigger than two week’s ago and is one we must win to confirm our Premier 1 status – vitally important if we want to move on as a club and put our plans into place. If every player plays to their potential then we give ourselves a fantastic chance.

This weekend also sees the end of the Six Nations and it only seems like yesterday that we were quietly anticipating a fruitful campaign for Scotland. Not to be and if we don’t beat England this afternoon it will be another year when we have only won one game. Lean times indeed!
