Marr 0-39 GHK
GHK kept their title dreams alive with an exceptional performance in Troon. A bonus point win was the target, and this was achieved with room to spare. The GHK team brought their best performance of the season in the most glorious of conditions.
The sunny, cloudless sky saw this table encounter take place at a furious pace. Although the scoreline may not suggest it, Marr were no pushovers and defended resolutely for the majority of the 80 minutes, and to their enormous credit tried to play exciting rugby for the full period. This does, however, indicate just how outstanding the visitors performance was.
Tries from Andy McTavish (2), Gordi Reid, Ali McAra, Stuart Pollock and a fantastic solo chip and collect from Rory Love, along with 3 conversions and a penalty from Jamie Millan, won the day.
Next week sees a now even more important trip to Coatbridge to face current league leaders Waysiders. For both sides a win is imperative if they wish to take the National 5 West title
