Gentlemen

Myself and a worthy team of fellow accies, Kenneth Shand, Andrew Howie, Kevin Lilburn and Jamie Lonsdale (Kelvinside Accie) will be taking part in the hearts and heroes challenge on the 16th of May in the borders apart from trying to get or keep a bunch of old and not quite as old men fit we hope to raise funds for boys who have suffered serious injuries in rugby. When we sat down to discuss doing this a few weeks ago we could name 7 people who are now paralyzed as a result of rugby injuries. Its a great game and we have a responsibility to look after those who suffer through playing it.

We are taking part under the Hawks banner using the name of Hawks Never wases, there is another team of Hawks has beens hence the name.
