Following a recent business review which highlighted the need to continue to support the excellent work done this last year by Glasgow Hawks’ full-time employees, the decision has been taken to reinstate the role of Hawks’ Chairman. Glasgow Hawks are delighted to announce that current Board Member, Allan Mackintosh, will take on the role with immediate effect. Allan’s role will be to support and work alongside CEO, Kenny Baillie, Director of Rugby, Peter Wright, and Club Development Manager, Grant Talbot. Allan will also support and facilitate the effective running of the Glasgow Hawks’ Board of Directors.

Allan commented. “It’s a great honour to take on the role of Chairman and to follow in the footsteps of Brian Simmers, Tom Howie and Ken Hamilton. In my short time with Hawks I have been impressed with the vision and the work ethic of our full-time employees, coaching staff, players, volunteers and the Board and I will be doing my utmost to play my part in ensuring that the Hawks’ vision becomes a reality.
