After a total of eight seasons with the Club, Glasgow Hawks announces the departure of David Wilson as 1st XV coach. David and Director of Rugby, Peter Wright, informed the 1st XV players after Sunday's SHE Shield Final victory over Peebles at Murrayfield.
David has had two spells with Hawks. The first as a player in which he captained the Club to the Division 2 championship and Scottish Cup in its first season, 1997-98. The second spell saw David come back to the Club as Head coach, winning the Division 1 championship in 2006 and the Scottish Cup in 2007.
Everyone at Hawks would like to thank David for his dedication and commitment as player and coach and wish him all the very best in the future.
