Amongst the the 300 plus guests at the Gordon Mackay Memoral Dinner headed up by John Beattie and Andy Nichol held at the Glasgow Academy on Saturday night were many ex Hawks- some who had played alongside Gordon in the inaugural League and Cup winning season 1997-98
Spotted were such as Murray Wallace (now teaching in Boulder USA),Danny Ablett,Steve Begley,Chris Docherty,Murray Scott(more recently with London Scottish),John Mason,Mike Blackie,Chas Afuakwah,Kenny Baillie,Alan Perrie.Chris and Stuart Simmers Andy Ness and Derek Stark
