Former Accies rugby secretary Chris Dunn was reading the match report for Scotland A v Russia last Friday and saw that the match was refereed by
American Chris Draper, a new IRB appointment to the referee panel.

Chris noted "I don't know if you remember back to 2003 but he played for Accies who at that time were being coachd by John Beattie right before he decided to take up refereeing - don't know if it was something we did or not, but an interesting link nonetheless!"
