What this is basically is a research project into the effectiveness of Canterbury base-layers' at different humidity's.
This will basically involve exercising on a treadmill at different temps/humidities, while all-sorts of measurements are being made. It wont be particularly tough, and should be pretty interesting as well.
This is a great opportunity for both the club, and the individual players to take part in a some very worthwhile and pioneering science.
The study is likely to have a great chance of being published in a highly credible sports journal, therefore the findings along with the input of our Hawks players, will allow for Glasgow Hawks to be highly recognized and respected as being at the forefront scientific study & product engineering for rugby
What I am looking for are 5 volunteers, of a decent fitness (we don't really need 5 Robbie Hairs', but backs are preferable), who can give up some free time to partake in these studies over a few days
To Volunteer: either give me a txt (07944115594) or email me ([email protected]) or speak to me at training, and we can get the ball rolling.
Cheers,
Jono
