Glasgow Hawks CDM Update

Hawks CDM Grant Talbot has just returned to work following 2 weeks break to France, which was spent with the Glasgow Thistles helping out on their annual trip to Perpignan. This year's Hawks under 15 team had 6 people on the trip and they were as follows - Chris Barnes, Kristopher Boyle, Fraser Hastie, Alasdair Patrick, Sean Yaccoubian and Harry Walker. The Thistles coaching team also had a large Hawks representation with Peter Wright, Jamie Dempsey, Chris Reid and Eric Milligan coaching the boys.

The summer camp is just over 3 weeks away and places are going fast with boys wanting to sign up for a full week’s rugby coaching for our qualified coaches. This morning he was coaching The High School of Glasgow for their first pre - season session which involved a lot of running, the numbers were down due to some boys still being on Holiday. This afternoon he will be out coaching some local children between 14:00 - 16:00 at a free come and try rugby session.

Tomorrow night will see Hawks go to the streets of Drumchapel and deliver a session of street rugby from 18:00 - 19:30 in partnership with Scottish Rugby and Culture and Sport Glasgow.
