The Glasgow Titans (sponsored by Walker Laird Solicitors and Estate Agents and Greaves Sports) won the Northern Cup Plate at the Manchester 7's! This is their second plate win of the season so far.

The squad were presented their medals and cheque in front of thousands of spectators at Macclesfield Rugby Club.

The Titans lost their first two games of the group phase, however did not lose a game for the rest of the tournament after that including wins in their third and final group match, Quarter Final, Semi Final, and a close contest in the Final.

The squad only had one Glasgow Hawks representative being Craig McGinlay, however McGinlay was the top try scorer for the Titans and overall in the tournament scoring 6 tries and 2 drop kick conversions. Craig coming back from a serious shoulder injury only played from the Quarter Final to the Final scoring an important double in the Final.

Congratulations has to go to Stevie Gemmell and Kenny Murrays Scotland Ladies 7's squad who won their competition. Well done ladies!
