What do Nick Cox and the former World record over 5000 metes Dave Moorcroft have in common ?
They both competed for Coventry Godiva Harriers one of the great English athletics clubs
Despite what our backs may think Nick competed over 200 and 400 metres
The man who coached Dave Moorcroft to his world record in 1982 was Scotsman John Anderson erstwhile Gladiators referee who at one time helped GHK with their fitness work
Dave's time still stands as a British record today although an attack seems to be planned for this weekend at the Palace--- and Nicks in not bad shape either
