After a gap of seven years Rory McKay (No. 8) is back at Anniesland. Rory left Hawks after the Scottish Cup Final in 2002 where Hawks lost to Hawick after extra time.

He has signed for Hawks from English National League One side Bedford Blues. When Rory left Hawks in 1992 he signed pro terms with Glasgow Warriors and since leaving Hughenden he has also played with Venezia (Italy), Manly (Sydney, Aus) and Waterloo.
