CDM Update

Sunday 13^th – Glasgow Hawks under 13 and 14’s are training at Old Anniesland today, the under 15’s are away to Ayr in the league and the under 16’s are away to G.H.A in the league. Later on this afternoon Glasgow Hawks under 13’s will be playing a demo match at half time during the Warriors v Scarlet’s match at Firhill.

Monday 14th - I will be coaching at Knightswood Secondary in the morning for 1st year boys and in Knightswood Secondary in the afternoon for 2nd year boys. This will be followed by coaching at Kelvinside Academy in the afternoon for their 2nd / 3rd year team at Balgray.

Tuesday 15th - I will be coaching at Knightswood Secondary in the morning for 2nd year boys and girls. In the afternoon I will be at St Thomas Aquinas for 3rd - 4th year after school rugby at Victoria Park. Peter Wright will be doing some coaching with the 3rd years at The Glasgow Academy. In the evening we have our weekly team meeting followed by a meeting with some of the midi coaches at Hawks.

Wednesday 16th - I will be coaching at Knightswood Secondary, 1st and 2nd years in the morning and in the afternoon I will be working with the 2nd team at The High School of Glasgow.

Thursday 17th - I will be coaching at Knightswood Secondary in the morning and in the afternoon I will be in the office making sure all of the admin is up to date and that the ball boys and mascot are sorted out for the match on Friday night.

Friday 18th – In the morning all of the Glasgow City rugby development staff have a meeting at the Trongate, this is to discuss how we can improve rugby in the city. In the afternoon I will be watching The High School of Glasgow v St Columba’s and then it will be the Hawks v West game in the evening.

Saturday 19th – As Hawks have no game on the Saturday, I am taking the opportunity to go and watch my old club Dalziel play against R.H.C. in Edinburgh.

Sunday 20th - I will be out with the Hawks midi’s, the under 13 and 14’s will have a training session. The under 15’s are playing against West of Scotland in the Scottish Cup and the under 16’s will be playing Mull in the Scottish Cup. Kick off times and venues will be confirmed during the week for these games.
