As your decrepit scribe waits for his next hip replacement he takes himself to the local gym to try and keep moving what can still move. To his suprise he recently was flanked on the cycle machines by the well honed body of former Edinburgh Gunner Carlo Di Ciacca(I wonder if Hugh Campbell has his number as everybody else seems to have) and the not quite so well honed body of Celtic League supremo David Jordon.
All this leads of course to Saturday when the Hawks start the defence of their Premiership title with a hard away match against Melrose at the Greenyards.

The 2xv under new coach Alasdair Craig continue their pre season build up with a friendly at Old Anniesland against Hillhead/Jordonhill
