Pete's Match Day Notes

Match Day Notes

Good evening folks and welcome to Old Anniesland for our Premier 1 game vs West of Scotland and also a warm welcome to West of Scotland’s head coach John Beattie.
After a fantastic performance last week against Selkirk we have a difficult task tonight against our local rivals, West. This will be one of our toughest games of the season. Having played 3 games West are still looking for their first win but looking at who they have played and their scores they are pushing teams really hard and will be a tough nut to crack tonight
We need to carry on our good work after 3 games in which we have managed to score 15 tries and showed some good pace and composure but we must also be realistic and realise that we have probably played 2 of the weaker teams in the league. Things only get tougher from here, so let’s hope we are up for the tonight’s battle.
Thanks very much for turning up tonight and helping to create what I’m sure will be a fantastic atmosphere from which both sets of players will I’m sure produce the goods.
