In a scene reminiscent of the British and German game played between the trenches in the First world war at Christmas time both sides came out their Boxing Day bunkers to mingle in the great game of rugby. Due to the snowy conditions a fast paced and skilful game of touch was played among 14 stalwarts who braved the snow and ice. Andy Dunlop displays the Golden Boot award below which will be contested for next year.
