Same again for Warriors

Glasgow Warriors have named an unchanged starting XV for Saturday’s Magners League clash with Edinburgh (2 January, Murrayfield, kick-off 3.05pm – live on STV) which is also the second and deciding leg of the Greaves Sports 1872 Cup.
The Warriors, who won 25-12 in front of a record crowd at Firhill on Sunday, are currently top of the Magners League and a win on Saturday will put them at least eight points clear of their Scottish rivals. A defeat could bring the two sides level once again.
Head coach Sean Lineen said: “I’ve been very impressed with the players’ attitude this week because we all know we have unfinished business. We’ve had a pretty full-on week and are leaving nothing to chance.
“Edinburgh will be hurting but we’ve been there before. We’re expecting a very fierce match on Saturday.”
Hoping that members of the record-breaking support that came to Firhill on Sunday will travel to the capital this week, Sean added: “The crowd at Firhill was fantastic and I’m sure there will be another record attendance at Murrayfield this week. There will be a large number of Glasgow fans through in Edinburgh and these supporters are always vital for us.”
