All at Old Anniesland are saddened to hear of the news of the passing away of Gerry Woolard yesterday. Gerry played rugby at OA and was also well known as a genial referee who stayed on after the game to chat with both teams. His legacy in refereeing is carried on by his son, Glenn, and in rugby by his grandson, Greg, for GHK.

The funeral is on Friday, 3pm, at Clydebank crematorium.

Our thoughts are with his family at this sad time.
